Tuscaloosa voters may go to the polls on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, to choose a new city council representative if more than one candidate qualifies for the open District 3 seat. Should no candidate receive a majority of votes in that election, a runoff will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. These elections will determine who represents District 3 for the rest of the current term. Residents are encouraged to follow local election updates as the candidate field becomes official.
