Sokol Park Pro Rodeo Returns for 18th Year in Tuscaloosa

The 18th Annual Sokol Park Pro Rodeo will take place July 9 through 11 at the Ray C. Jenkins Multipurpose Arena in Sokol Park, bringing three nights of professional rodeo competition to Tuscaloosa. The event will feature traditional rodeo favorites including bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, and calf roping, with competitors from the Southeastern Professional Rodeo Association. In addition to the rodeo, attendees can enjoy Cowboy Kenny’s Steel Rodeo Freestyle Motocross performances and motorcycle-themed entertainment. Gates open each evening at 5:30 p.m., with the main rodeo events beginning at 7:30 p.m., and discounted advance tickets are available before the event. Organizers expect the annual rodeo to once again draw families and rodeo fans from across West Alabama for one of the region’s signature summer traditions.
