Prentice Concert Chorale’s Greatest Hits of the 1960s

Prentice Concert Chorale will present a lively celebration of 1960s music, spanning pop, rock, folk, and Broadway favorites. The program will feature choral and vocal arrangements with a full band, including horns, performing songs made famous by artists like Carole King, The Beatles, and The Mamas and the Papas, as well as selections from classic musicals. Audiences can expect a mix of beloved hits such as “What the World Needs Now,” “These Boots Are Made for Walking,” and “Before the Parade Passes By,” along with iconic instrumental pieces from the decade. The concert highlights the wide musical range of the 1960s, from the rise of rock and roll to the emergence of folk and psychedelic sounds, alongside Golden Era Broadway. Performances will take place at Grace Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
