Book Talk & Signing with John Sledge

Ernest & Hadley Booksellers in Tuscaloosa will host a book talk and signing with author John Sledge on April 6 at 5:30 PM. The event will feature Sledge discussing his book Mobile and Havana: Sisters Across the Gulf, which explores the historical connections between the Gulf Coast city of Mobile, Alabama, and Havana, Cuba. The program is presented in partnership with the University of Alabama’s Cuba Center and will include a conversation about the cultural and historical ties between the two port cities. After the discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the author and have copies of the book signed. The event will take place at the Ernest & Hadley Brick House and is open to the public.
